In addtion, the e-Resource is designed for point-of-care nurses, nurses in management positions, nurse practitioners and nurse consultants whose practice supports LTC homes.

The e-Resource offers a flexible approach and nurses decide which knowledge domains and learning modules to complete based on their knowledge, experience, role in the LTC home and the content of orientation offered by their employer. An integrated checklist and planning tool assists users in identifying knowledge gaps, learning needs and tracking progress towards learning goals. It can also be used as a tool to support the quality assurance requirements of the College of Nurses of Ontario.

During this webinar, participants learned:

·        the structure and function of the e-Resource including integrated web-based learning activities

·        how to integrate use of the e-Resource within current practice

·        recent enhancements to the e-Resource to support nurses as knowledge professionals
